Approach

“I aim to combine a scientific, evidence-based approach with an empathetic and holistic mindset. Working with the animal, rather than working on the animal, I prioritise how they feel, going at their pace to minimise stress and promote relaxation. Ethics are at the forefront of my approach, supporting kind and compassionate animal care and training, and promoting high welfare standards.”

Veterinary Physiotherapy

Veterinary physiotherapy is a specialist area of animal care focusing on the rehabilitation and management of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. Through a combination of techniques, we aim to reduce pain, facilitate the healing process, restore function and mobility, and improve strength and stability in animals who are recovering from an injury/surgery, have been diagnosed with specific orthopaedic and neurological conditions, need support with age-related decline and those with poor postural/movement patterns.

Veterinary physiotherapy is also beneficial for healthy animals, aiming to maintain their comfort, strength and fitness and pick up on any subtle changes, aiding in the prevention of injury.
